Hanky's heartrate today was 142 and he is measuring ahead still at 34 1/2 weeks. He is head down (with his feet lovingly in my ribs)and has even started to descend a bit. Dr. Cobb decided she would move my internal checks (aka cooter checks)up by a week so next visit I will know if I am progressing at all. My blood pressure is still doing great as is my weight gain.
It can be quite painful (and that is putting it nicely, trust me, I would love to use more colorful language regarding this development) when he pushes his little feet into my ribs, definitely makes me sit up straight or stand! Turning over in bed in the 8th month of pregnancy should also be an Olympic sport. Oh, and the word "cankle" does not even begin to describe what my ankles look like at the end of the day. I have a 3/4-1" indentation on my calves from my socks every night when I take them off. And wedding rings???? Yeah, right, only if I want to have them cut off.
My first baby shower is on January 13th, so unless something exciting happens before then, I will have another update then (and pics too I hope!).

You have nothing to whine about when it comes to the ankle swelling! Do you not remember my snausage feet? You could have it much worse! :)
