Mommy feels like crap-ola.

I have been feeling sick for over a week now. It comes in waves and brings along nausea, sweating, racing heart, shakiness, and dizziness. After several days of just not feeling up to par, I called Dr. Cobb's office. They advised me to avoid sugar, eat a little bit more, eat every two hours, and if there is no change to call back in a couple of days.

A couple of days come and go and there was no change. I called the office back, fully expecting them to a)give me new advice or b)have me come in to do my gestational diabetes test early. They did neither. They told me that I need to go check into the hospital to be monitored, have bloodwork run, and to rule out infection or pre-term labor. She also warned me that I may need to go on bedrest. Going to the hospital seemed like a bit of an overreaction, but Ryan and others felt that if that is what they recommended, than I should probably go.

After work (I didn't see a need to rush, afterall I had been feeling this way for a week and Hanky was still moving all over the place) I ran a couple errands (shaving my extremely hairy sasquatch legs being one of them) and then headed over to Labor and Delivery. They hooked me up to a couple of monitors and ran some bloodwork. Four hours later, they decided that they have no idea what is/was wrong with me. My blood sugar, blood pressure, blood oxygenation, iron, electrolytes, thyroid, etc. were all perfectly normal. I was discharged and sent on my way. Whatever it is, I hope it goes away soon!!
