We had our follow up sonogram for Hanky's heart today. The sonographer was clearly able to see all four chambers of the heart but it was difficult to get a good picture of it, and apparently pictures are what counts. After my doctor receives the report and pictures, she will determine if we need to do yet another sonogram.
He is measuring 1 pound, 3 ounces and is a week ahead at 23 weeks (I am 22 weeks tomorrow). They consider him to be in the 50th percentile, so right now he's perfectly average, size-wise. Here are some pics from today:
This is a close up of Hanky's face (on the right, belly is on the left). If you look very closely, you can see that he's sticking out his tongue.
And here is a picture of his leg and foot. I am still hoping he has webbed toes like Mommy!
After the sonogram, Terry and Casey took me shopping for some maternity clothes. I felt bad for them because I am such a picky person but I ended up finding two beautiful sweaters and a couple long sleeved tshirts. We had lunch and just had a nice day together!
My next regular appointment is on November 6th so there will be an update then (sooner if anything interesting happens!). There is also a new belly picture up, I moved that section up so you don't have to scroll all the way down to the end of the page.
